AirAsia Foundation Grant
Supporting Asean Changemakers
Through Grants
Every great idea begins with a spark. A way to solve a problem in your community, protect the environment, or create opportunities. Too often, those sparks fade without the right support. That’s why AirAsia Foundation created our grant programme: to give changemakers across Asean the resources, network, and belief they need to turn vision into impact.
We partner with Asean-led social enterprises, organisations, and community groups that create measurable change. If your project is innovative, community-driven, and built to last beyond the grant period, we invite you to apply.
Sustainable Travel
Supporting tourism models that protect the environment and uplift local communities.
Climate Resilience
Building stronger, adaptive solutions that help communities withstand and recover from climate challenges.
High Impact Initiatives
Delivering bold, innovative solutions that drive meaningful change for people and the environment.
Our Priority
Focus Area
We look for businesses or projects that bring long term benefits to communities and the environment, with a special consideration for sustainable travel and climate resilience projects. However, we also consider other high-impact initiatives.

Are You Eligible?
Our Main Criteria
for Selection
We would like to know about your social or environmental objectives and how your enterprise is meeting your goals. Tell us about your communities and how they will be impacted.
We are interested to know how your social enterprise stands out from others. Are you applying a new approach or are you creating a product or service with a unique selling point?
An important criteria we look out for is the ability to continue after the funding period. Tell us how our grant can help you generate income that can be reinvested into growing your business or enable the continuity of your initiative beyond the funding period.
Other than grant funding, is there any other way you can leverage on the AirAsia network to further your objectives?
Additional Criterias
Bonus Considerations
We prioritise projects based in areas within reasonable reach of an AirAsia-served airport in ASEAN, making it easier to promote and support your work.
We prioritise organisations with proven leadership, accountability, and cost-consciousness, as these are crucial for long-term impact.
We value opportunities for AirAsia Allstars to participate directly, sharing skills, time, and energy to support your work on the ground.
