Overview
On November 8, 2013, Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), the strongest tropical cyclone ever recorded, made landfall in the Philippines. The storm caused massive devastation across the Visayan Islands, killing at least 6,300 people and affecting more than 14 million, many of whom were left homeless.
Impact At A Glance
- Philippine Red Cross: Build 345 homes in Panay
- Habitat for Humanity Philippines: Build 187 homes in Tacloban
- Hapinoy: Set up 133 sari-sari stores owned by women in Palo, Tanauan and Tacloban
- Rags2Riches: Provide art therapy and train 50 artisans in Tacloban
- Affected Airport Workers: Fund repair of homes for 58 airport workers in Cebu, Kalibo and Tacloban.

The Campaign
